Xolo Q1010i with Exmor R camera launched at Rs 13,499

Indian handset firm Xolo has quietly launched a new smartphone Q1010i priced at Rs 13,499. Although Xolo has not made an official announcement, the phone has been listed on the company's website. Successor to the recently launched Q1010, the phone comes with an improved Exmor R camera sensor from Sony.

Xolo Q1010i sports a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720x1280p. The One Glass Solution display features Asahi's scratch resistant glass.

The dual-sim (GSM+GSM) smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and Mali 400 graphics, part of MediaTek MTK 6582 chip, along with 1GB RAM. The phone comes with 8GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

Xolo Q1010i sports an 8MP rear camera with Sony Exmor R lens (f2.0 aperture) and LED flash, and a 2MP front-facing camera. The phone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean upgradeable to Android 4.4 KitKat. It comes with a 2250mAh battery that claims to offer talktime of 9.7 hours and standby time of up to 685 hours on 3G networks.

In terms of connectivity, the phone offers USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and A-GPS capabilities.

Xolo Q1010, the phone's predecessor, was launched in February. It sports almost the same hardware except for the camera lens and less internal storage (4GB). The phone is available at Rs 12,999.
