Flappy Bird 'original' might soon grace smartphones again, as its creator Dong Nguyen has reportedly hinted to the addictive game's rebirth.

Nguyen, who pulled out the simple yet frustratingly addictive game from app stores for the simple reason of being-addictive.

However, in his interview with Rolling Stone, the 28-year-old app developer from Vietnam has revealed that he was considering a rebirth of the game that once made around 50,000 dollars per day in ad revenue, Cnet reports.

Although a lot of Flappy Bird clones have popped up since the original's demise, Nguyen maintains that people can clone the app for its simplicity, but they can never make another Flappy Bird.

Soon after Nguyen announced that he was taking off the game from the app stores, addictive fans took to social media to express their disappointment, with some even threatening to end their own lives if the game wasn't restored.

The developer further revealed that his next games would now accompany 'Please take a break,' as a warning message for gamers, the report added.
