BlackBerry's first BB10-powered full-touch phone Z3 has made appearance online, courtesy alleged press renders.

BlackBerry-focused website N4BB.com has published the images of the device codenamed Jakarta. The report claims that the device, which was first revealed by BlackBerry CEO John Chen during the company's earnings call in December, is likely to be showcased at Mobile World Congress that starts February 24.

Another BlackBerry focused website, BBin.in has published specifications of BlackBerry Z3. According to the website, the phone will sport a 5-inch LCD display with a 540 X 960p resolution. It will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1,5GB RAM, as per the report. The phone will sport a 5MP rear camera and a 1.1MP front-facing camera and a 2,650mAh non-removable battery.

The phone pictured in the render looks very rectangular with sharp corners. The Power key, volume rocker and mute keys are placed at the left edge of the phone, while the micro-USB port is placed at the bottom edge in the renders, with the top edge sporting the 3.5mm headset jack. The phone's back features a textured finish.

BlackBerry CEO Chen had said that the phone will most likely launch in March or April targeting the Indonesian market in the initial phase. BlackBerry had also inked a deal with Chinese manufacturing giant Foxconn in December to produce affordable BlackBerry 10 phones. The Z3 is reported to be the first device manufactured by Foxconn for BlackBerry.
