Lenovo A820 was launched recently by Lenovo. The Lenovo A820 has 1.2GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, and 1GB RAM. While not much popular the Lenovo A820 was bought by many users. But with no way of rooting the device, they were not able to utilize the best of Lenovo A820. So, here is the guide to root Lenovo A820 easily.

Requirements
Drivers of Lenovo A820.
SP Flash Tool.
CWM v5.5.0.4 for Lenovo A820 S130 / CWM v6.0.1.2 for Lenovo A820 S135.
Lenovo A820.
A PC or Laptop.
SuperSU root file.
Root Lenovo A820
Run the SP Flash tool and click File, then Open scatter-loading file.
Select the file that you downloaded in the CWM folder.
Now uncheck all the boxes other than recovery. Also check the box for DA DL All With Check Sum.
Click Download.
Turn off your Lenovo A820 and connect it.
The process will start after connecting the device to PC. After running successfully, it will display a green circle.
Transfer the SuperSU root file to root of your SD card.
Open recovery of your phone, by long pressing the + volume button, – volume button, and power button for around 10 to 15 seconds.
In recovery menu, you can navigate using the volume buttons, and select using the power button.
Select install ZIP from SD card, then choose ZIP from SD card, and select the SuperSU-root file.
Click OK. Now reboot Lenovo A820.
All done, not you have a rooted Lenovo A820.
