Saab is getting ready to start the production of the 9-3 again in the month of September. The new owners National Electric Vehicle Sweden say that the model has parts supply, which is the main bottleneck in the process of production. This automaker has to establish a newer and better network and it is still not known where these would be marketed. With around 400 factory employees back to work at Trollhttn Saab is now looking forward to recruiting more 180 workers who would help with the production and presume that the factory can surely overcome the supply issues and go back during Fall.
The new 9-3 is just like a new car and is a revamped version of the older version which started sometime in 2002. This is a four door sedan and a two door convertible. It has a turbo charged engine with a four cylinder. Saab has turbo charged engines as its forte and has periodical facelifts to make things easier for all. There is a new model based on the Phoenix model, which is also expected to hit the markets. Some time back it was almost the end of Saab vehicles. The newer brands are 9-1, 9-6x and 9-7. The present naming strategy is that each model designation starting with 9 and then would have the number showing the size of the car. The 9-1 would be a small vehicle and the 9-7 would be a large sedan. The 9-6x would be an SUV thus making it a step above the 9-4X crossover.
