Yah that’s the first impression which you will get after entering to this place.It is a dream land for those who have passion for arts, architecture, cultures and food. At the entrance, you will see a magnificent elephant sculpture with a group of men playing flute and huge drum to give a royal welcome to visitors.
The Kingdom of Dreams is divided into two major zones. The Nautanki Mahal and The Cultural Gully. The Nautanki Mahal, which was built like a palace. It is a huge auditorium with over 800 seats to accommodate the audiences for it’s one and only live broadway in India. Another remarkable spot is the carving of 110 feet sleeping Buddha on brick wall next to the Nautanki Mahal.
The Cultural Gully is few steps away from the Mahal. The entry of the gully is set inside a 20ft high golden lotus flower, studded with tiny mirrors and color stones. The indoor pavilion, with artificial sky dome, has been turned to busy buzzling Indian street.It brought together the different cultures from 14 states all across India. Portraying each state’s landmark and yet retaining it’s original beauty. the Kerala houseboat, Mumbai clock tower and train station. Rajasthan’s famous puppet show, Punjab’s color graffiti truck and so on.
The Gully offers more than 350 exotic dishes from across 14 states by certified chefs. There’s numerous options to enjoy your time. Whether you like to dine in Lucknow restaurant with enchanting mirror works or enjoy sipping a cup of tea at the Madras cafe,while you can enjoy folk dance from across India. You can also indulge in shopping, the Rajasthan arts and artifacts, Kerelite’s ayurvedic products or souvenir from Mumbai street shop. And for those who want’s to enjoy relaxing day, there is also massage center that one can relax and unwind.
Well, starting from their Entry fees which was 700 INR, in which 600 INR was covered seems like a good deal. If you enjoy feed like me, you will have plenty of Indian cuisine options along with traditional style of sitting arrangement. The feeling inside the Mahal is over whelming. Due to my time constraint, I could not attend their show call Zangoora, but that will certainly be in my list, when I visit India next. None, the less don’t forget to take the camel ride, before you bid the place good bye.
